It’s difficult to imagine that Italy remains unexplored. With thousands of years of history and a panoply of storied empires and city-states to its name, Italy seems like a peculiar place for hidden gems. Though it may not be unexplored like Christopher Columbus’ new world, Apulia is a sleeping beauty waiting for its turn to shine in the sun. With its sweeping coastlines and dramatic views, Apulia intoxicates with its natural beauty. Nevertheless, the true beauty of this great region lies in its cities. For the cities of Apulia are places of communion where dozens of cultures throughout its storied history intersect. See, Apulia is a place of boundless history and tradition, a place with a unique sense of self. Our founder, Mesciu Gigi, found Lecce as his muse, a city characterized by its baroque style and limestone architecture. Every element of its essence ran through his being and by proxy his work. In creating our first collection, we pay homage to this great city by naming it “The Lecce Collection”, one in which we not only derived inspiration from Lecce but also showcased the grandeur of the city.
