Episode 04: Andrum

      Camiceria Andrum is the embodiment of a mother’s passion for tailoring, born in 1978 and lovingly passed down to her sons, Enrico and Alessandro.

      Year after year, a small workshop in Andria blossomed into a global presence, with the two brothers now engaged in international collaborations and dedicated to providing high-end services to prestigious brands.

      For Enrico and Alessandro, the shirt is feminine. A belief confirmed by the local craftswomen who, generation after generation, continue to sew shirts with a genetically innate affinity for needlework.

      For over 40 years, Andrum has produced artisanal shirts known for their exceptional fit—thanks to tight stitching, removable collar stays, premium buttons, and handcrafted buttonholes sewn with a double pass.

      Enrico and Alessandro are children of their land: proud of their region, Puglia; proud of their city, Andria. Their work is joyfully influenced by the vibrancy of the Baroque, yet also touched by Byzantine, Swabian, and Dainian inspirations.

      In their shirts, the yellow of wheat, the green of olive oil, and the blue of the sea are woven into fine fabrics shaped by classic foundations—infused with flair, originality, and openness to modern trends.

      Their collection also embraces alternative fibers to cotton, geometric motifs beyond florals, and oversized fits featuring bowling collars and short sleeves—echoes of the past reinterpreted for today.

This series is an invitation to enter the sacred spaces of Italian craftsmanship where human led design, guided by tradition, functionality, and intention give form to beauty.

      Through the eyes of our President, Nicolas Segura, and the voice of our General Manager of Italy, Luca Giusto, we traverse the storied region of Apulia to meet the master artisans whose work sustains the soul of a true Made in Italy. From tailoring to sculpture, from ceramics to woodwork, each episode offers a glimpse into a world where technique is inherited and iterated upon, tradition is honored and enriched, and every gesture speaks of devotion and purpose.

      This series is more than a chronicle of fine workmanship; it is a celebration of vocation, of lives lived in pursuit of excellence, of heritage made tangible, of the subtle but profound harmony between mind, body, and soul that elevates an object by uniting it to a rich tapestry of craft dating back millennia.

      As alluded to previously, this inaugural season is dedicated to the artisans of the region of Apulia. Each month, we dedicate ourselves to one artisan. Monthly on the fifteenth, we unveil a new chapter in their story on our YouTube channel.
